For as long as I can remember, I have always loved to draw. When I was in preschool, I used to love to color, draw, and make cards for my teachers.

My mom has been very passionate about art all her life, so when she noticed how much I loved art, she was elated and began showing me step-by-step how to draw small things. I made this picture on the left for mother’s day when I was in preschool.
One summer, we were waiting in airport in London, because
our flight had gotten delayed. I was bored out of my mind, so to keep me busy, my parents gave me some colored pencils, markers, and a sketchbook. This gave birth to my little kitten picture on the right.
By the the time I was in second grade, my mom had signed me up for art classes in a studio nearby, where I started getting more formal training and got exposed to lot of different mediums and techniques. Here is one of my first pieces with colored pencils that I made at the studio when I was in second grade.

I continue to attend classes at the studio and learn more techniques, I still have a lot to learn and a long journey ahead of me.
